General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Kerissa Hollis is Sezzle’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, leading the Company’s legal, compliance, licensing, corporate governance, risk management, and related regulatory initiatives. She previously served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Zebit, where she led enterprise-wide legal and compliance programs and supported complex corporate transactions, including an IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange and a subsequent take-private transaction. She also served as Associate Chief Counsel at Elevate, Inc., advising on a broad range of public-company legal and compliance matters. Earlier in her career, she held senior in-house roles across consumer lending platforms, overseeing bank and vendor partnerships, debt facilities, data privacy, and multi-state licensing and regulatory examinations. Kerissa earned her J.D. from The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and a B.A. from Mississippi State University.
